‘How do I become an MVP?’ is one question which keeps ringing in most of our minds.

In my first article in my blog I will explain ou in first part what is this title given by Microsoft? advantages / Benefits for to be MVP, second part How to Approach an MVP Award and finally part I tell many advices.

A Microsoft MVP, also known as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). So while I am on the mission of explaining to people what the MVP Award is, I figured I should tell you what it is not:

According to Microsoft, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award is given to "exceptional, independent community leaders who share their passion, technical expertise, and real-world knowledge of Microsoft products with others.”

Advantages / Benefits of Being an MVP

1. First hand Access: Being an MVP, you do get access to first hand information and Technical previews of softwares.
2. MSDN Subscriptions: MVPs are given one-year online priority access to products and expert advice. 
3. Channel 9 : allows MVPs a access direct channel 9 to submit Videos ,comments and suggestions.
4. MVP Private Newsgroups / Discussion Lists : This provides forums for MVPs from around the world to share ideas on Microsoft products and technologies with fellow MVPs and Microsoft employees.
5. Being Valued : This is something which i found really impressive.
